AsliBill (“Asli Bill - Quick Billing App”) is a mobile billing app for shops, restaurants and salons, free to download with a paid Premium plan. Tap & Bill is a paid billing app built around the clothing shop counter. Both make quick bills and print on Bluetooth thermal printers; the difference is in what happens around the bill. Where AsliBill is better
- Price. Premium is ₹1,299 a year and the app is free to download. Tap & Bill Basic is ₹1,499 a year (or ₹199 a month) plus GST, and Starter, with automatic WhatsApp bills, is ₹499 a month.
- iPhone app. AsliBill is on the App Store; Tap & Bill has no iPhone app (the web version works on iPad).
- Play Store and installs. AsliBill is on Google Play with 1 lakh+ installs; Tap & Bill’s Android app is a download from tapandbill.in.
- Edit a saved bill. AsliBill lists editing invoices. Tap & Bill never edits or deletes a saved bill: you cancel with a reason and bill again, which protects you from staff changing bills.
- Restaurants. KOT and table orders are in AsliBill; Tap & Bill is counter billing only.
- Printers sold with the app. AsliBill lists three printers it has tested, with buy links.
Why clothing shops pick Tap & Bill

Bring your customers and items across
If AsliBill gives you an Excel or CSV file of your customers or items, open Customers → Import from Excel or Prices → Import from Excel in the Tap & Bill web dashboard and choose the file. No file? Fill in our sample sheet instead.
- Customers come in by mobile number, with their udhaar balance (or advance) as an opening balance you can collect like any other udhaar.
- Items come in with selling price, and HSN, GST %, lowest price and cost price if your file has them.
- Designs and stock (only if you use the optional Stock & barcodes): choose Products & stock on the import page to bring in designs with size, colour, price, MRP, cost, your existing barcodes and opening stock.
- Tap & Bill matches the columns for you and shows every row before anything is saved. Rows with a wrong mobile number or price are listed with the reason; the rest go in.
